Path of his first decade of life, Maniatic, the Valencia International Fantastic Film Festival, has a lot to celebrate. El primer motivo de celebración es que la Academia de las Artes y las Ciencias Cinematográficas de España lo ha acreditado como festival calificador para los Premios Goya. València se convierte, So, en epicentro del cine fantástico y de terror. This year, Maniatic nos propone un doble programa a concurso. El primero de ellos nos acerca a 28 trabajos en formato corto con lo mejor del género. Serán diez piezas nacionales que se medirán a otros 18 trabajos internacionales para conseguir el codiciado galardón. Besides, Maniatic ofrecerá una sección de largometrajes con cinco obras procedentes de festivales como Cannes, Venecia o Sitges: La larga marcha del realizador norteamericano Francis Lawrence; Redux Redux de Kevin y Matthew McManus; Alpha de la realizadora gala Julia Ducornau; The Last Viking del danés Anders Thomas Jensen; y Resurection del chino Bi Gan.
