DESCRIPTION:The Museum of Prehistory of Valencia has scheduled for this Wednesday 25 February the conference The Paleolithic Art of Parpalló: valoración y relaciones suprarregionales\, que impartirá Valentín Villaverde Bonilla\, catedrático emérito de la Universitat de València y especialista en arte paleolítico. Así\, en el marco de la exposición temporal La Cova de Lascaux. Un Viatge virtual al passat\, elmuseo acogerá a las 18:00 horas esta charla con la voluntad de conectar esta muestra con suscolecciones. El encuentro\, que tendrá lugar en el salón de actos Alfons el Magnànim\, realizará una aproximación a  la colección de plaquetas de la Cova del Parpalló\, conjunto de arte mueble paleolítico más importante de Europa\, aportando una nueva visión de las manifestaciones artísticas más antiguas de la humanidad\, no solo en su dimensión estética sino también como fenómeno que permite establecer vínculos y relaciones culturales entre varias regiones del occidente europeo. \nLa Cova de Lascaux. Un Viatge virtual al passat \nL’exposición temporal La Cova de Lascaux. Un Viatge virtual al passat\, nos adentra en el majestuoso y\, a la vez frágil\, mundo del arte rupestre paleolítico\, a través de una experiencia de realidad virtual de alta resolución que permite visitar la cavidad y conocer de primera mano las espectaculares obras maestras que alberga. Esta exitosa exposición internacional llegó por primera vez a España el pasado año de la mano del Museu de Prehistòria. Tras viajar por Burdeos\, Chicago\, Tokio\, Johannesburgo y muchos otros lugares del mundo\, la muestra llegó al Museu de Prehistòria de València a finales de octubre de 2025\, despertando gran interés y con una gran afluencia de público\, acumulando cerca de 11.000 visitas en tres meses. La muestra continuará abierta hasta el próximo 29 de marzo\, dando a conocer las obras maestras del arte paleolítico de Lascaux a través de una experiencia novedosa de realidad virtual\, reafirmando el compromiso de la corporación provincial con la divulgación del patrimonio universal y con la innovación en la oferta cultural\, ofreciendo una programación de calidad.

DESCRIPTION:About 21 000 anys\, Homo sapiens pintà i gravà les parets d’una xicoteta cova de la Dordonya\, en el sud-oest de França\, with hundreds of animal figures and signs. Passaren els segles i els mil·lennis fins que\, un dia de setembre de 1940\, quatre jóvens descobriren per atzar un forat en el bosc i decidiren explorar-lo. Acabaven de descobrir un dels testimonis més espectaculars de l’art rupestre del Paleolític. \nLa cova de Lascaux\, inscrita en la Llista del Patrimoni Mundial de la UNESCO des de 1979\, és un jaciment prehistòric fonamental per a la història de l’art i de la humanitat. La seua fama es deu a les seues pintures i gravats d’una bellesa excepcional\, a la seua història singular\, a les seues reproduccions i als esforços ingents per a garantir-ne la preservació. \nEl Museu de Prehistòria vos dona la benvinguda a esta exposició internacional que s’exhibix per primera vegada a Espanya després d’haver viatjat per més de 18 cities around the world. \nEsta exposició ha sigut creada pel Consell Departamental de la Dordonya\, amb el suport del Consell Regional de Nova Aquitània\, del Ministeri de Cultura i del Govern de França. La gira mundial està organitzada per SPL Lacaux\, L’exposition Internationale.
