DESCRIPTION:Conferencia a cargo de Jorge Girbés que propone una nueva mirada sobre la transformación urbana de València\, centered on the extension of Peace Street. A través de una visión inédita\, se analizará su relación con el Patio de los Naranjos de la Lonja y su evolución histórica. \nPartiendo del discurso presentado en 1930 por el arquitecto José María Manuel Cortina Pérez en la Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Carlos\, se abordarán sus críticas a las construcciones del patio y su propuesta de reorganización del entorno\, que incluía la ampliación del espacio de la Lonja y la prolongación de la calle de la Paz. Un proyecto que nunca llegó a realizarse\, probablemente debido a una prohibición administrativa derivada de una redacción imprecisa\, lo que impidió la apertura del patio al público y la transformación urbana prevista.

DESCRIPTION:Esta conferencia propone una revisión histórica de Lucrecia Borgia\, one of the most emblematic and controversial women of the Italian Renaissance. Tradicionalmente envuelta en una poderosa leyenda negra que la presentó como símbolo de intrigas y escándalos\, su imagen ha estado condicionada durante siglos por relatos literarios y políticos que distorsionaron su biografía. \nA través del análisis de documentación histórica\, correspondencia y fuentes de época\, la conferencia ofrece una aproximación rigurosa a su contexto vital: la Roma pontificia de finales del siglo XV\, las complejas alianzas dinásticas de la familia Borgia y su posterior etapa como duquesa de Ferrara\, donde desempeñó un papel relevante en la vida cultural y política de la corte. Esta mirada renovada permite comprenderla como una mujer inserta en las dinámicas de poder de su tiempo\, lejos de los estereotipos que han marcado su memoria. \nLa sesión será impartida por Isabel Barceló Chico\, investigadora y divulgadora especializada en historia del Renacimiento y en la recuperación de figuras femeninas desde una perspectiva crítica y documentada. Su trabajo se caracteriza por el rigor en el manejo de fuentes y por una clara vocación de acercar al público general investigaciones históricas sólidamente fundamentadas\, contribuyendo a una comprensión más matizada del pasado.

Founded on 2021 en Lucerna\, el dúo desarrolla un trabajo que combina rigor interpretativo y sensibilidad artística\, with special attention to the repertoire for cello and piano and a proposal that balances tradition and openness to other languages. SUMMARY:The painter Salvador Tuset Tuset (1883-1951)
DESCRIPTION:This year we celebrate 75 anniversary of the death of Salvador Tuset Tuset (1883-1951)\, un artista notable y fecundo\, conocido fundamentalmente por la faceta más carismática y personal de su pintura\, los denominados “interiores”. No obstante Tuset abarcó diferentes temas\, géneros y estilos –además de sus trabajos escultóricos– en más de cincuenta años de oficio. Su labor comenzó en un periodo de cambio en las artes plásticas\, a caballo entre la decadencia del academicismo decimonónico y el auge del modernismo y el impresionismo en España. Finalmente convivió con las vanguardias artísticas del siglo xx. Buen conocedor del panorama artístico de su tiempo\, eligió para sí una formación rica\, fuertemente basada en las enseñanzas de la Escuela de Bellas Artes de San Carlos\, el magisterio de Joaquín Sorolla y el aprendizaje adquirido en la Academia Española en Roma. \nEsta conferencia propone una aproximación a la figura y la obra de Salvador Tuset desde una mirada amplia\, que permita valorar tanto su aportación más conocida como la riqueza y complejidad de una trayectoria artística profundamente ligada a su época.
