To the 16 años\, se quedó a las puertas del CAR de Madrid\, pero decidió seguir entrenando\, llegando a proclamarse campeón de España de acrosport. \nEntrenando en su Alicante natal\, conoció al malabarista ‘Piti’ con el que empezó a actuar. De hecho\, su nombre artístico Wilbur surge 10 minutos antes de una actuación en Elche\, leyendo panfletos de publicidad.
