The activity is part of the programming of the Celebration of the 50 años de España en libertad\, an initiative promoted by the Government of Spain through the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory. The day will take place in two emblematic spaces in the city: el Centre Cultural La Nau de la Universitat de València y el espacio independiente El Consulado\, combinando debate profesional\, artistic creation and collective celebration.  \nLa actividad comenzará en el Centre Cultural La Nau con un encuentro sobre la danza contemporánea que se celebrará en dos sesiones: of 12:00 a 14:00 hours and 16:00 a 18:30 horas\, with an intermediate break for food between 14:30 and the 15:30 hours. This is the first of seven sessions in the cycle. \nLes universitats públiques i els espais independents exerceixen rols complementaris en la consolidació i l’impuls de les arts visuals: les primeres reforcen la formació\, la investigació i la reflexió crítica\, while the second favor an experimental alternative for the early circulation of artistic practices. Aquesta activitat proposa una taula de diàleg en què reconèixer punts de trobada\, tensions i reptes compartits\, paying attention to the crossed expectations between both areas and to the ways that affect those people who start their professional development in the local circuit. \nLa sessió començarà amb una breu presentació del cicle Pràctiques de context\, which will serve to introduce the objectives and the conceptual framework of the table (15 minutes). A continuació\, the dialog table will be developed (70 minutes)\, in which young professionals with trajectories linked to both the university and the independent spaces will share their experiences and points of view. DESCRIPTION:In 1884\, després d’àrdues negociacions\, the Spanish state acquired the library of the House of Osuna. La col·lecció\, constituted over generations and made up of more than 35.000 volums entre impresos i manuscrits\, it represented one of the country's most important bibliographic heritages. Ara bé\, els vaivens i les despeses del dotzè duc d’Osuna\, Mariano Téllez Girón\, they set off the alarms: the books ran the risk of being dispersed after his death in 1882. Finalment\, gràcies a un acord econòmic amb la seua vídua\, María Leonor de Salm-Salm\, these were bought by the Ministry of Public Works and distributed mainly between the National Library of Spain and the libraries of the Senate and Congress. A més\, in between 1888 i 1892\, la resta dels llibres es distribuïren entre una desena de biblioteques universitàries\, entre les quals\, that of the University of Valencia. \n  \nAquesta exposició traça el recorregut d’aquesta col·lecció fins a la seua arribada a la Biblioteca Històrica de la Universitat de València i reconeix tant el valor de les obres conservades com la tasca de localització i classificació d’exemplars per part del personal de la institució des de fa anys. DESCRIPTION:Spin like planets that rotate in their nocturnal meadow. Spaces of affectivity between women is a collective proposal that explores the emotional bonds between women through contemporary art. The exhibition brings together works by 19 artistes i proposa un recorregut per diferents llenguatges artístics -fotografia\, pintura\, instal·lació\, audiovisual\, escultura\, ceràmica i tèxtil-\, per a abordar temes com el desig\, l’amistat\, la complicitat\, affective genealogies or forms of shared care. El projecte s’endinsa en els afectes i desafectes entre dones a partir de pràctiques artístiques contemporànies que dialoguen amb l’experiència\, memory and emotional genealogies. La mostra s’articula al voltant de diversos marcs de ressonància -com In illo tempore (in another time)\, el contínuum lesbià\, la invisibilitat o la diferència específica-\, que funcionen com a camps oberts on s’entrecreuen relats\, time and bodies. The present works explore sensitive and experiential territories where the vulnerable and the powerful coexist. A través d’imatges\, objectes i materials diversos\, les propostes construeixen un paisatge d’afectivitats que desafia els discursos heteronormatius i recupera històries\, links and stories that have been left out of the dominant historical narrative. \nLa mostra dona veu a una sèrie d’artistes: Nucbeade\, Marta Galindo\, O.R.G.I.A\, Yera Moreno\, Hanna Jarzabek\, Andrea Rodríguez\, Núria Martínez Seguer\, Olalla Gómez Valdericeda\, Mercedes Azpilicueta\, Isabel Martín i Paula Yubero\, Laia Arqueros\, Isabel Cordovil\, BajoRufián i Sara Mono\, whose works make up this constellation of views and practices.

Especialista en l’estudi del llibre il·luminat i de la tradició clàssica en la baixa edat mitjana\, ha desenvolupat la seua carrera acadèmica a Holanda\, the United Kingdom and Denmark. És codirectora de la revista Troianalexandrina\, dedicada a l’estudi de la recepció de la cultura antiga en l’edat mitjana. \nEl segle xii marca\, d’acord amb la coneguda asseveració de Ludwig Traube\, el començament d’una vertadera aetas ovidiana\, resultat de la creixent fascinació dels lectors medievals amb les Metamorfosis\, les Heroides i\, en menor mesura\, els Fastos de l’autor de Sulmona. És sobre la recepció medieval de les Heroides que versarà aquesta xarrada\, en la qual es prestarà especial atenció a la petjada deixada per les epístoles ovidianes en les literatures vernacles europees\, on serviran de model per a la forja d’una nova sensibilitat en l’expressió dels sentiments i per al desenvolupament de personatges femenins de més importància psicològica. Tot això anirà acompanyat de la creació d’un imaginari visual en el qual aquestes dones de l’Antiguitat cobren protagonisme i es mostren com autores de la seua pròpia història\, de manera que creen un vincle amb les seues lectores medievals.
