DESCRIPTION:The Filmoteca joins the celebration of the centenary of the writer and screenwriter Rafael Azcona (1926-2008). To explain the essential role he has played in our history and culture, it would be enough to list the dazzling list of his very long filmography and the filmmakers with whom he collaborated: Luis García Berlanga\, Marco Ferreri\, Carlos Saura\, Fernando Trueba\, José Luis García Sánchez\, Pedro OIea o José Luis Cuerda\, others. Per a l’ocasió\, we gather some essential titles that give the measure of his enormous talent. \nAzcona i Berlanga ens van regalar onze grans films\, from which we collect two masterpieces of cinema: Placid (1961) i El verdugo (1963). El seu ampli treball amb Saura va demostrar que l’humor negre i el realisme costumista elevat a sàtira social en els quals va ser mestre no li van impedir abordar relats altament metafòrics\, simbòlics i surrealistes\, dels quals Ana y los lobos (1973) és un perfecte exemple\, com també ho és El anacoreta (1976)\, by Juan Esterlich.
