A partir del folklore valencià —jotes\, fandangos\, seguidilles…— es reescriuran els textos tradicionals per a parlar d’allò que ens interpel·la: els misteris de l’univers i l’oportunitat única de presenciar\, des del nostre territori\, l’eclipsi solar total del 12 August of 2026. \nUna invitació a cantar per a pensar el món d’altres maneres; una pràctica col·lectiva per a afinar l’escolta\, el cos i la imaginació; un moment per a ressonar juntes amb el cosmos.

DESCRIPTION:A meeting with Gemma Blasco about the creation process of La furia. \nEsta trobada del programa de cinema es planteja com una conversa en la qual la directora i coguionista compartirà com ha sigut compondre una pel·lícula que vehicula l’experiència personal amb una mirada més crua i visceral al voltant de les violències sexuals. A sample of his work files and filming documents on which he relied for the construction of a new imaginary of his representation in the audiovisual. \nGemma Blasco\, 1993. He studied directing and screenwriting at the Bande à Part school in Barcelona. He has also been trained in workshops such as 'La construcción del personaje' at the EICTV (Cuba) or 'Filming in Barcelona with Abbas Kiarostami'. Ha dirigit llargmetratges\, curtmetratges\, advertising and audiovisuals for theatre. Actualment imparteix masterclass\, classes d’interpretació i prepara el seu pròxim projecte de ficció\, Petroli\, in the Residence of Guions of the Academy of the Catalan Cinema. \nEl seu curtmetratge Jauría (2018) received the SGAE-New Authorship award from the Sitges Festival. In 2019\, el Festival de Gijón va estrenar el seu projecte El zoo\, an experimental feature film that plays with theatrical registers. In 2025\, el seu primer llargmetratge de ficció\, La furia\, had its world premiere at the South by Southwest festival in the USA. In his journey through festivals he has obtained three awards from the Official Section of the Malaga Festival (Millor actriu\, Best Supporting Actor and Best Editing)\, the special mention of the jury at SXSW London and was the opening film of the D'A Festival Cinema Barcelona 2025. She is one of the protagonists of the award season of Spanish cinema with six nominations for the Gaudí Awards and one nomination for the Forqué Awards and the Feroz Awards in the Best Leading Actress category for Ángela Cervantes. \nDuració de l’activitat: 60 minutes approx.

DESCRIPTION:Amb l’ànim d’abraçar la transdisciplinarietat de les arts i entendre que els museus del segle XXI són espais per a l’experimentació i la creació contemporània\, entesa de manera àmplia\, naix Posar la veu\, a monthly cycle of concerts that activate the IVAM hall as a space for intimate and experimental proposals. \nFruit de la col·laboració interinstitucional amb la Subdirecció de Música del Insitut Valencià de Cultura\, s’articula esta nova proposta a la ciutat on\, la veu\, la seua presència\, her experimentation and sound innovation is the center and excuse that will serve to detonate plural spaces that focus on her. \nEl proper dissabte 31 at 7pm the cycle will feature Xenia. Compositora\, productora i intèrpret de València\, in 2021 va donar vida al seu distòpic primer ep Esfera\, bringing her to be part of the ecstatic scene of dark groups in Spanish. In 2022 Xenia va llançar el seu primer disc Ruido-0\, un lp de pop fosc\, molt més madur i accelerat\, which does not leave aside its underground roots and the enveloping sounds that characterize its music. In 2023 llança al costat de Margarita Quebrada Aleación\, an ep of three songs that combine the most stirring electronics and the most sensitive melodies and rhythms. \nActualment\, Xenia ha llançat nou àlbum Cuando las sombras se alargan\, on trobem electrònica\, reggaeton urbà\, pop o drum n bass. El seu concepte ens porta al més oníric\, parlant dels somnis i moments surrealistes\, combined with the sensations and feelings we experience in our conscious life.

DESCRIPTION:The Valencian Institute of Modern Art (VAT) presents the next 28 de enero una conversación entre la escritora\, poeta y traductora argentina María Negroni y la arquitecta y escritora Berta Ferrer\, in which Negroni invites us to reflect on the relationship between literature and his own literary work with contemporary art. Se trata de la primera actividad del ciclo Escrituras cactus’con el que\, desde un punto de vista interdisciplinar\, se pretende releer la obra de Julio González y de la historia del arte\, a través de la mirada de los escritores María Negroni\, Miguel Ángel Hernández\, Sara Barquinero\, Estela Sanchis\, Andrés Neuman\, Agustín Fernández Mallo\, Manuel Baixauli and Alicia Kopf. El ciclo Escrituras cactus\, comisariado por el escritor y crítico literario Jorge Carrión y moderado por Berta Ferrer\, se completará con la publicación de un libro que recogerá relatos\, cuentos\, essays and even poems by these same writers. Este ciclo forma parte de las actividades programadas por el museo valenciano con motivo del 150º aniversario del nacimiento de Julio González.\n\nMaría Negroni (Rosario\, 1951) es reconocida por una vasta obra que abarca poesía\, ensayo y narrativa\, among which titles such as 'The heart of damage' stand out (2021) and 'Permanent collection' (2025). She has been awarded the Siglo XXI International Essay Prize and the Margarita Hierro International Poetry Prize for her collection of poems 'Utilidad de las estrellas' (2024)\, entre otros reconocimientos.\n\nCiclo Escrituras cactus\nTras María Negroni\, the cycle continues 25 de febrero a cargo de Miguel Ángel Hernánez\, historiador del arte y escritor español de Anoxia o ensayos como Yo estoy en la imagen. He 25 de marzo es el turno de Sara Barquinero\, autora de Terminal\, Estaré sola y sin fiesta y Los Escorpiones\, considered the best book of the year in the fiction category by the Madrid Bookstore Association. The Valencian museum will host the 20 de mayo\, la conversación entre el escritor hispano-argentino Andrés Neuman y Jorge Carrión. Neuman es una de las voces más importantes de su generación y destaca por novelas como El viajero del siglo (Alfaguara Award 2009) y Hablar solos.\n\nLa siguiente tertulia será el 30 de septiembre y correrá a cargo de Agustín Fernández Mallo\, cuyos libros más recientes son Trilogía de la guerra\, The shape of the crowd (Eugenio Trías Essay Prize) y el libro autobiográfico Madre de corazón atómico. El ciclo Escrituras cactus del IVAM contará también con la participación el 11 de noviembre de la artista\, escritora e investigadora Alicia Kopf\, autora de las novelas Hermano de hielo y Memòria d’Eco. Los escritores valencianos Estela Sanchis\, autora de la novela Hasta aquí todo va bien\, y el escritor y pintor Manuel Baixauli\, que ha recibido\, entre otros\, los premios Mallorca de Narrativa\, Nacional de la Crítica Catalana y de la Crítica dels Escriptors Valencians\, will complete the literary cycle.
