Els seus versos\, en ocasions al·legòrics i mordaçment al·lusius\, però sempre unívocs i límpids amb la franquesa eloqüent d’un acte de fe\, neixen de la seva experiència de dona i de ciutadana activa\, i atenyen una espiritualitat lluminosa guiada per una poderosa claredat expressiva\, una discreta i no obstant efusiva i punyent veu baixa amb què es fa llegir intel·ligiblement\, distinctive elements that are hardly comparable in contemporary European poetry. \nEn una Itàlia patriarcal i rònega\, va haver de fer front en ple segle XX a les modes triomfants custodiades per un aparell crític on senyorejaven\, sobretot als anys quaranta i cinquanta\, patums de l’hermetisme que Guidacci no seguia\, sempre perseverant perquè no entrés cap foscor ni cap ambigüitat –tampoc cap escarafall ni cridòria– als seus versos cristal·lins\, clarividents\, energetic and timeless. Carles Torner entered international life in the eighties through student and writer associations recognized by the UN and Unesco. He was also director of the literature program at the Ramon Llull Institute when Catalan culture was invited to the Frankfurt and Guadalajara book fairs.
