DESCRIPTION:Des de fa ja 9 anys\, the Territorial College of Architects (CTAV) comes to collect the innovative effort that our profession brings to the FALLES monument. A tribute to fire from the hand of architecture. In the summer of 2025\, this fire surpassed the territory in which we live and has brought the magic of our culture to other borders. Enter and join us inside the exhibition to meet Miguel Arraiz and his team working in a Nevada desert. L’exposició Foc al desert. El Temple del Burning Man\, permet entendre el festival com un experiment social\, a temporal utopia. The Temple is a monument that presides over an ephemeral city of 70.000 persones i que igual que les Falles\, it exists only for a few days and is destroyed by fire. \nEnguany el CTAV i el Centre del Carme Cultura Contemporània (CCCC) collaborate in this initiative and share content and debate. DESCRIPTION:Alberto Sanchis Pérez (1940 – 2015)\, Son of a carpenter and grandson of a cabinetmaker, he is mainly known as the architect of the housing cooperatives. (Virgen de los LLanos\, Malva-rosa\, Alcàsser\, La Ecológica\, The Riba) built between the decade of the 70 and the 90\, giving prominence to the participation of its inhabitants. Sin embargo\, su extensa obra\, ubicada por todo el territorio valenciano hasta Madrid\, alcanza múltiples escalas y tipologías en equipamientos (asistenciales\, educativos\, culturales\, etc)\, espacios públicos\, rehabilitaciones\, viviendas unifamiliares\, oficinas\, incluso planes urbanísticos. Este abanico de proyectos fue desarrollado a lo largo de no tantos años de carrera\, 30 en concreto\, hasta que un ictus le obligó a retirarse de la profesión. En este tiempo se fue consolidando a su alrededor un equipo regular de trabajo\, conformado por los arquitectos Josep Manuel Ribera\, Ana Peris\, Pablo Sanchis y Helios Gisbert en “Alberto Sanchis Taller d’Arquitectes”. \nTal como lo recuerda su familia\, amigos\, alumnos\, compañeros de estudio y clientes\, Alberto fue una persona cercana\, comprometida\, metódica y también empeñada. Desde su primer despacho a pie de calle en Orriols (Padre Viñas) estableció un fuerte vínculo con la incipiente asociación de vecinos a quien acompañó en diferentes reivindicaciones y propuestas. Este aprendizaje desde lo colectivo se aplicaría enseguida en la manera de escuchar y trabajar con las personas usuarias de su arquitectura mediante encuestas\, largas asambleas\, reuniones conversadas con otros compañeros\, etc.  Y es que a Alberto\, según apuntan Encarna y Josema\, habitantes de una casa por él proyectada\, le gustaba raonar hasta conseguir la solución idónea para el proyecto. Aunque esto implicaba hacer y deshacer\, dejando constancia en tantos bocetos\, revisiones\, reflexiones teóricas\, referencias y profusos estudios de otras obras. \nSu formación inicial como arquitecto técnico le aportó una importante base constructiva que se ve reflejada en el interés por el detalle (barandillas\, escaleras\, encuentros con el suelo o la estructura\, voladizos\, porches\, miradores\, etc); su paso por el Ayuntamiento de Bocairent como arquitecto municipal le sirvió para ampliar su conocimiento de la arquitectura pública; y sobre todo\, su etapa durante 13 años como profesor de Elementos de Composición Arquitectónica en la ETSA de València\, le fue útil para no dejar de aprender y enseñar en todos los ámbitos. \nCon todo\, la exposición de su legado no se ha planteado de una forma categórica\, cronológica o lineal ni tampoco se centra en su etapa más social\, sino que se ha planteado de forma más narrativa\, a partir del bagaje arquitectónico acurat de Alberto Sanchis: el que estudiaba\, conversaba o practicaba. En definitiva\, como una clase más de arquitectura\, no solo que trasciende el campo de los profesionales\, sino que está abierta a cualquier persona. \nDavid Estal y Alberto Sanchis\, comisarios
