La propuesta se enmarca en la exposición ‘Teatro Magnético’\, de Pablo Helguera\, que se inspira en las sesiones del doctor Mesmer\, precursor of hypnosis in the 18th century.  The workshop proposes a space for intergenerational coexistence that invites participants to abstract themselves from the hyperstimulation of everyday life to recover attention to the details that usually go unnoticed and enhance the connection between the beings that surround us.. La actuación\, de entrada gratuita\, se enmarca en la gira nacional ‘Ochéntame\, dedicada a la música pop-rock española e internacional de los años 80. El concierto tiene lugar\, at 19.00 horas\, in the Gothic cloister of the Center del Carme. ‘Ochéntame’ reunirá algunas de las canciones más conocidas de formaciones como Spandau Ballet\, Deacon Blue\, A-ha\, Duran Duran\, Nacha Pop o el artista Tino Casal.\nLa Banda del Pop\, integrada por músicos componentes de Revólver\, Los Inhumanos\, Ciudad Jara\, Jaime Urrutia o Juan Belda\, recupera composiciones que forman parte de la memoria musical de toda una generación\, vinculadas al contexto de la denominada movida valenciana. Diego de Antonio (keyboard)\, Vicente Marin (guitar)\, Quique López (voice)\, Javi Sevilla (battery) y Alfred Lorente (low)\, con la colaboración de Juanjo Martín (saxo)\, ofrecen un directo fiel a las versiones originales\, aportando el sello propio del grupo. \nCon esta actuación\, el ciclo ‘Encuentros en el Carmen’ concluye su programación hasta después del verano\, tras haber presentado en los últimos meses actuaciones como las de No me pises\, que llevo chanclas\, el solista Emilio Solo y el grupo valenciano Bombai\, así como propuestas de la escena valenciana reunidas en el homenaje a Antonio Vega ‘Lucha de gigantes’ o la revisión del ‘soul’ internacional ‘I’m every woman’.
