Durante la charla ‘A través de la cerámica’\, que estará moderada por el profesor de Historia del Arte de la Universitat Politècnica de València\, José Luis Clemente\, The artists will tell in first person their contributions to art in recent years. 50 years and their experiences as pioneers in the use of ceramics in creative processes. \nEl director-gerente del Consorci de Museus de la Comunitat Valenciana (CMCV)\, Nicolás Bugeda\, has pointed out the importance of a meeting that pays tribute “to two fundamental figures of Valencian art who studied here at the Center del Carme and whose careers have crossed borders”. \nLa proyección artística de Carmen Calvo y Miquel Navarro ha ido en paralelo desde el principio hasta alcanzar en poco tiempo el reconocimiento internacional\, exponiendo junto a otros artistas españoles\, in the legendary exhibition at the Guggenheim in New York 'New images from Spain' (1980). \nPartiendo de exposiciones en la legendaria Galería Vijande\, sus obras han sido expuestas en relevantes galerías y museos nacionales e internacionales\, and his work is represented in important institutional and private collections. DESCRIPTION:The Center of the Carme Culture Contemporary (CCCC) presenta la exposición The Subversive Stitch\, de María Carbonell\, una muestra que une la tradición textil con la lucha feminista\, recovering the memory of the British suffragettes and putting it in relation to the demands of current movements. The exhibition has its origins in the research work that Carbonell carried out during his residency to create the Consorci de Museus at the Las Cigarreras Cultural Center in Alicante.. Allí\, recogió el legado de las sufragistas británicas\, analizando uno a uno los patrones\, bordados\, colors and shapes of the banners from between centuries that they used in their marches. DESCRIPTION:The Center of the Carme Culture Contemporary (CCCC) dedica su próxima sesión del ciclo ‘CCCClaves para el cine’\, which will take place on Wednesday 25 de marzo\, to cinematographic costumes from the hand of designer Sonia Grande (Oviedo\, 1964). \nGanadora de dos Goyas y Medalla de Oro al Mérito en las Bellas Artes\, Sonia Grande ha trabajado para Woody Allen\, Pedro Almodóvar o Alejandro Amenábar y ha vestido a importantes a actrices y actores como Nicole Kidman\, Meryl Streep\, Sharon Stone\, Penélope Cruz\, Scarlett Johansson\, Maribel Verdú\, Aitana Sánchez-Gijón\, Emma Stone\, Owen Wilson\, Alec Baldwin\, Javier Bardem\, Ernesto Alterio or José Coronado. \nBajo el título ‘Las claves del diseño de vestuario cinematográfico’ y acompañada por el cineasta Rafael Maluenda\, el Centre del Carme recibe a una de las grandes diseñadoras de vestuario del cine contemporáneo\, which has a long history in Europe and the United States. \nDurante la charla Grande abordará el poder narrativo del vestuario en el cine\, his working method and his creative process based on reading and interpreting the script. Conocido artísticamente como pepebeas\, su figura ha estado muy ligada al espíritu de artistas como Antoni Muntadas\, Antoni Padrós\, Grup de Treball\, Eugènia Balcells\, Antoni Miralda\, Francesc Torres\, Nam June Paik about Wolf Vostell. Pepe Beas. Los márgenes de lo real\, that can be seen until 12 de abril en la sala Ferreres del CCCC\, recorre la trayectoria del artista a través de nueve grandes instalaciones convertidas en escenografías que envuelven al espectador y lo interpelan acerca de cuestiones como la emigración\, la violencia\, identity or philosophical themes such as hermitism or the infinite seriality of life. \nTras sus primeras obras cinematográficas\, The exhibition offers a more or less chronological tour through nine installations.
