DESCRIPTION:La Compañía D’Annunzio/Molina presenta El que es dona a la llum\, una propuesta escénica de site-specific que investiga la relación entre espacio\, cuerpo y memoria. La obra establece un puente entre pasado y presente en un contexto marcado por la diversidad social\, la vulnerabilidad y las múltiples realidades del barrio del Cabanyal\, atravesadas por procesos de resistencia vecinal frente a políticas institucionales abusivas. \nEl proyecto es el resultado de un proceso de mediación\, investigación y co-creación desarrollado en el Centro Cultural El Escorxador\, edificio que durante más de veinte años albergó a la plataforma “Salvem el Cabanyal”\, surgida para defender 1.651 viviendas amenazadas por el plan de prolongación de la Avenida Blasco Ibáñez. \n“En el lugar de la representación\, el antiguo matadero del barrio\, encontramos una tensión entre aquello que se pone a la luz y aquello que queda en el olvido\, en ese sentido\, este proceso propone una reflexión crítica sobre un sistema que funciona como una maquinaria que perpetúa la muerte simbólica de la memoria vaciando al espacio arquitectónico de cuerpo histórico y convertirlo en una masa anónima para el consumo”. Dicen los creadores. \nEn El que es dona a la llum\, el espacio específico no es solo un escenario\, sino un elemento activo en la performance\, un cuerpo que propone acción\, lo que nos permite reflexionar sobre nuestra relación con la historia\, el medio ambiente y la comunidad fluyendo de manera atemporal entre ellos y vinculándolos con el territorio. \nEl que es dona a la llum se enmarca en un proceso continuo de investigación artística que en esta oportunidad se ha centrado en el Centro Cultural El Escorxador pero que se viene gestando desde el año 2023. Este proyecto cuenta con el apoyo del programa de ayudas a la producción 2025 del Ayuntamiento de València y del programa de Producción Emergente del Instituto Valenciano de Cultura 2025.
