THE WHITE LADY

CARME CENTER. Museum, 2

France, when talking about “the white lady”, one thinks of a female spirit dressed in white and herald of death. But, don't suffer, this Dame Blanche comes to Valencia solely to accompany her third album under the same sky. Native to Cuba, song from the musical director of the Buena Vista Social Club, and resident in Paris, the singer, flautist and percussionist Yaite Ramos proposes an explosive urban musical work of experimentations and collaborations where he merges the hip-hop, the cumbia, he dancehall and the reggae with lyrics with a high social content. On the stages, this rich and amazing character, it asserts itself with a devilish cocktail of sulphurous rhythms that will not leave you indifferent. B.L.
