DESCRIPTION:La Universitat Politècnica de València\, a través del Área de Acción Cultural del Vicerrectorado de Arte\, Ciencia\, Sociedad y Tecnología\, presenta la 21ª edición del Encuentro de Arte Urbano PolinizaDOS2026\, that will be celebrated from 11 al 15 May in the spaces of the Vera de València Campus. \nEn esta edición\, el Encuentro propone una reflexión en torno a la espacialidad\, with the aim of going beyond the mural as a pictorial format and contributing to the construction of a spatial and architectural sense. Para ello\, se plantea una aproximación expandida desde la investigación artística\, entendida como una herramienta para la configuración de espacialidades propias\, loaded with discursive meaning. \nEn este contexto\, PolinizaDOS vuelve a invitar a artistas vinculados a una ciudad del ámbito iberoamericano. En esta ocasión\, la ciudad invitada es Lisboa\, representada por el colectivo Os Espacialistas. Founded on 2008\, su trabajo se articula a partir de una investigación teórica y práctica sobre las relaciones transdisciplinares entre arte\, architecture and education. Su práctica se materializa en proyectos de acompañamiento artístico en obras de arte y arquitectura\, así como en propuestas propias que incluyen intervenciones arquitectónicas\, espacios escénicos\, ensayos fotográficos\, instalaciones performativas\, happenings y performances. \nEl cartel se completa con los y las artistas seleccionadas mediante convocatoria pública: Malditas Ternura\, whose work explores the sensitivity of collective historiographies; Manolo Mesa\, focused on the relationship between object and tradition of intimate spaces; Giulio Vesprini\, that investigates abstraction through compositions with a strong graphic character; Alexandros Simopoulos\, whose practice is situated between painting and conceptualism referring to space; y Cristina Reyes\, que aborda el mural desde una aproximación narrativa y simbólica\, like new ways of seeing the world. \nAsimismo\, retomando la línea de apoyo al talento interno de la Facultad de Bellas Artes\, el jurado ha concedido un accésit a J. Warx\, whose work stands out for its discursive approach to contemporary situations.
