DESCRIPTION:Sedajazz presenta la Sedajazz Latin Big Band\, a large orchestra dedicated to Latin jazz that offers a tour of some of the most representative moments of this musical style. El programa explora la evolución de esta música desde sus raíces afrocubanas hasta sus desarrollos contemporáneos\, mostrando cómo el encuentro entre el jazz norteamericano y los ritmos del Caribe dio lugar a uno de los lenguajes más vibrantes de la música moderna.\nEl concierto viaja desde el nacimiento del Afro-Cuban Jazz en el Nueva York de los años 40 con figuras como Machito y Mario Bauzá\, pasando por la revolución del Cubop de Dizzy Gillespie y Chano Pozo\, the splendor of the mambo and the discharges of the years 50 y 60 con Tito Puente\, la influencia brasileña de la bossa nova\, and the incorporation of the Latin song and the bolero to the language of jazz. The tour is completed with modern Latin jazz that emerged in New York in the decades of 1980 y 1990 y algunas de sus derivaciones actuales.\nLa Sedajazz Latin Big Band reúne a músicos profesionales y jóvenes talentos del colectivo Sedajazz\, an intergenerational project that reflects the vitality of Valencian jazz. In 2026 Sedajazz celebrates its 35 aniversario\, con miles de conciertos\, more of 170 published albums and hundreds of musicians trained in his career.
