Gem of the Caves is a research professor at the School of Engineering at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. He studied physical at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and did the doctorate in theoretical physics at the University of Innsbruck, Austria. After post-doctoral stays at the Quantan Optics Institute., to Germany, i al Perimeter Institute, canada, she returned to Innsbruck as an assistant professor, where he also has his research group. Works on mathematical physics, universality in physics, computing and neural networks, topics that he tries to extend to aspects of biology and linguistics.
