DESCRIPTION:The exhibition offers a renewed reading of the garden of the Casa-Estudi Benlliure through the drawings of José and Peppino Benlliure. La Casa-Museu custodia una àmplia i valuosa col·lecció gràfica que permet aproximar-se no sols a la seua activitat artística\, but also to his interest in the architectural project and in the design of the domestic space and the garden. La investigació en la qual es fonamenta l’exposició ha permés estudiar i interpretar un conjunt d’esbossos fins ara poc coneguts o inèdits\, directament vinculats a la casa\, l’estudi i el jardí familiar del carrer de Blanqueries. A través d’estos dibuixos\, es fa patent la implicació directa dels Benlliure en les diverses ampliacions i reformes realitzades entre finals del segle XIX i les primeres dècades del segle XX\, as well as the close relationship between these architectural transformations and the configuration of the garden. \nEl recorregut expositiu s’organitza en diverses etapes que mostren l’evolució del jardí\, des de l’espai heretat\, de caràcter hortícola\, fins al jardí projectat\, already conceived as a representative space and stage of the painter's family and social life. Els dibuixos revelen un procés d’experimentació contínua amb múltiples alternatives per a l’estudi\, la casa i els espais exteriors\, as well as special attention to the built elements of the garden. \nL’exposició podrà ser visitada fins al 13 Tuesdays through Saturdays, September 11 (of 10 a 14 and of 15 a 19 hours) and on Sundays and holidays (of 10 a 14 hours).
