Aquesta tarda no va acabar de morir mai: Pasolini va reescriure aquest llibre durant tota la seva vida. Com el lector trobarà en les notes de l’autor mateix i del traductor\, aquest el llibre va anar creixent amb ell\, transformant-se de la mateixa manera que transformem el relat de la nostra vida a mesura que anem creixent. Tot plegat\, diversos estadis d’idealització d’una infància i adolescència al Friül. Per al jove Pier Paolo\, aquells estius són potser l’únic punt fix i inamovible de la seva primera formació sentimental.” La traducció —acurada\, magnífica—de l’Eloi Creus és la primera al català d’un text de Pasolini escrit en furlà.
