DESCRIPTION:La primera presentació en solitari d’Ai\, Mília\, Magda Año's novel won the Lletraferit Award for Novel 2025\, will take place this Thursday 25 from June to 19.00 hores al hall de l’Octubre Centre de Cultura Contemporània de València\, in an event organized by the Fan Set bookstore. L’autora conversarà amb l’editor Vicent Baydal al voltant d’una obra que ja ha despertat l’interés de lectors i crítica per la seua força narrativa i la profunditat dels temes que aborda. \nPublicada per Llibres de la Drassana\, Ai\, Mília és una novel·la ambientada en un poble valencià durant els anys de la Guerra Civil i la immediata postguerra\, que pren com a eix central la figura de Mília\, una jove marginada\, considerada boja pels seus veïns\, but endowed with enormous human complexity. Al seu voltant gravita la família Fenoll —Silvina\, Modest i els seus fills—\, who suffers firsthand the consequences of Franco's victory: la repressió\, les desaparicions\, la por\, hunger and the destruction of a world that seemed solid. Amb una prosa rica\, sensorial i profundament evocadora\, Magda Añon construïx una gran novel·la coral sobre la memòria\, the guilt and the human consequences of the Valencian post-war period. \nEl jurat del Premi Lletraferit de Novel·la 2025 va destacar especialment la qualitat literària de l’obra\, the solidity of its narrative architecture and the author's ability to create an absorbing atmosphere from the first pages. La novel·la presenta una protagonista marcada per la necessitat de comprendre uns fets que han quedat soterrats durant anys\, a search that will end up confronting her with the shadows of the past and with the consequences of everything that was not said. Així\, amb Ai\, Mília\, Magda Añon confirma una veu literària madura\, able to combine sensitivity and narrative forcefulness. \nL’autora\, nascuda a Alginet\, he has participated in cultural and artistic projects and also as a rhapsode in numerous recitals.
