Inside a foggy storm, Poncia, Bernarda Alba's maid, pray for Adela's death. The house has been plunged into a sea of silence. Poncia speaks alone and also with them, with Bernarda Alba and her daughters. This text is written based on the interventions of the character Poncia in the work 'La casa de Bernarda Alba' by Federico García Lorca. In a deep analysis of the character, Luis Luque rescues Poncia's interventions and turns them into reflection, soliloquies, dialogues with ghosts and shadows. Thus, a new look is illuminated inside the house. In the original work we witness a succession of events that develop in chronological order. Here, in this poncia, no. She speaks after the shock produced by Adela's suicide. Everything happens after his death. We listen to the voice of the maid to illuminate the dark corners of Lorca's work. Poncia talks about suicide, freedom, culpa, class, education and sex. And he speaks it with all the force of a voice that has been abused and silenced. The soul of “the Poncia” opens to insist on the need to transfer to others the idea of loving ourselves in freedom.
