DESCRIPTION:Mentre passa la festa is the photographic exhibition by Javier Hortelano that can be seen until April at Fnac San Agustín. Se trata de una recopilación de instantáneas tomadas a pie de calle que se mueven entre el fotoperiodismo y el reportaje social y donde\, aunque pueda parecerlo\, las fallas no son las protagonistas.\nLa muestra propone un recorrido visual por ese territorio frágil y silencioso donde la fiesta se suspende por un instante. Lejos del estruendo oficial\, de los monumentos que buscan su clímax en las llamas o de la estética espectacular que suele definir la celebración\, Hortelano dirige la cámara hacia aquello que ocurre cuando nadie parece estar mirando.\nSus imágenes revelan la trastienda de la tradición: falleras que se protegen del sol o la lluvia\, descansos improvisados donde asoma el cansancio\, silencios que preceden al desfile\, músicos que afinan a pie de calle\, vecinos que observan desde los balcones como si asistieran a una ceremonia íntima.\nSon escenas aparentemente menores\, casi furtivas\, but that's where the humanity that sustains the party emerges. Each photograph captures that intermediate time in which the celebration breathes and reorganizes itself.. No busca la postal ni el brillo\, sino el gesto mínimo\, la mirada perdida\, the pause that reveals the intimate dimension of a collective ritual. En ese espacio entre lo que sucede y lo que está a punto de suceder se perfila una coreografía invisible\, tejida por quienes viven las Fallas desde dentro.\nEn este trabajo\, la fiesta aparece como un organismo vivo\, hecho de cuerpos que esperan\, de rutinas repetidas\, of links that are reaffirmed in every daily act.
