Antonia Bueno, playwright and director of the play, wrote in 2011 a short and intense story, Manolita on the border, after a conversation in Berlin with Teresa Renau Ballester; and that same year she was a finalist in the X Women in Art Short Story Contest, of the City Council of Valencia. This text, which unravels the continuous exodus that Manuela Ballester's life consisted of, it is the basis on which he creates this scenic proposal, played by the actress Anna Millas.
