Screening of the documentary “The Gospel of the Revolution”, by François-Xavier Drouet

The revolutionary rise of Latin America in the 20th century owes much to the participation of millions of Christians, engaged in political struggles in the name of their faith. Inspired by liberation theology, they challenged military regimes and oligarchies. Questioning the idea of religion as the opium of the people, the film meets those who saw in the revolution the arrival of the Kingdom of God, on earth before in heaven.
