DESCRIPTION:The Center of the Carme Culture Contemporary (CCCC) presenta Letra y compás\, la última exposición del Premio Nacional de Fotografía\, Chema Madoz\, in which he unites for the first time his passion for music and books. Composed of 50 fotografías\, The exhibition invites the viewer to discover the visual poetry of one of the most internationally recognized Spanish photographers today.. Una partitura realizada en un telar\, una araña tocando el piano\, una rana en clave de sol\, dos flautas convertidas en un arma peligrosa\, una persiana musical\, un látigo convertido en nota\, un libro espejo\, un violín cuchilla\, un libro de arena… son algunas de las imágenes con las que el fotógrafo madrileño invita al espectador a adentrarse en su universo de fantasía\, harmony and beauty. \nLa obsesión de Madoz se centra en la combinación de objetos para convertirlos el algo distinto\, in many cases with clear surrealist references. En los últimos años Madoz es conocido por su vinculación con el mundo de los libros\, no sólo a través de sus fotografías\, sino también por las colaboraciones con escritores además de Joan Brossa también con Leopoldo María Panero o\, a título póstumo\, Ramon Gomez de la Serna (putting images to his aphorisms). Además\, As a result of his collaboration with different publishers and museums, he has published twenty books.  The artist also loves music and this exhibition is a tribute to music and is the first time that he unites his two great passions in one exhibition.: music and lyrics. \nSiguiendo la estética del artista\, The installation of the exhibition itself offers a visual game in the form of a score and introduces the visitor to an immense staff with the images arranged at different heights as if they were musical notes..
