DESCRIPTION:Afincado en Nueva York\, el saxofonista y compositor esloveno Igor Lumpert\, vuelve a este club tras su participación\, el pasado octubre\, en el Festival Internacional de Jazz Contemporáneo del Jimmy Glass\, para presentar su último álbum Resistance of the Earth\, a new project that features the great Argentine pianist Leo Genovese. \nEste último trabajo surgió a raíz de un proyecto multimedia hecho por encargo\, centrado en una preocupación ambiental universal\, con proyecciones de vídeo y un coro\, que Lumpert creó hace una década\, but that was never documented. The album was recorded after a single rehearsal and in a single one-day session at the Samurai Hotel recording studio in New York.. \nEl disco refleja el espíritu espontáneo de su creación\, sus temas urgentes y emotivos\, as well as recurrent environmental disasters.
