Heroes and Heroines: High Noon (Fred Zinneman, 1952)

If the protagonist of a film is the character towards whom the audience directs its attention, the most attractive protagonists are those of a heroic nature, because his charismatic condition favors sympathy and admiration on the part of spectators. From Gilgamesh to James Bond, d’Ulisses a Harry Potter, d’Atalanta a Wonder Woman o Lara Croft, heroes and heroines have been great protagonists of the universal narrative through classic epics, you will sing of deed, novels, comics, movies, television series and, even, video games. This new cycle of the Museum of Fine Arts of Valencia offers seven significant examples where men or women embody this exemplary model of integrating mythological origin and constant renewal.
