DESCRIPTION:The Center of the Carme Culture Contemporary (CCCC) joins the celebration of the Great Night of the Fira de Julio de Valencia on 18 de julio con la ampliación de su horario hasta la medianoche y un programa de actividades que incluye talleres familiares\, night visits to the exhibitions and the musical session of the DJ Fonki Cheff (And that one).  At 22.00 horas\, el claustro gótico del Centre del Carme acogerá la actuación del artista castellonense\, reconocido por construir sesiones a partir de géneros tan diversos como la rumba\, el flamenco\, el ‘funk’\, el ‘boogaloo’\, la cumbia\, el reggae\, el hiphop o el ‘soul’\, combining classic and contemporary references. Natural de Benicarló\, ha llevado su música a Londres\, Estados Unidos\, América Latina\, Japan and North Africa. Con una depurada técnica de ‘scratching’\, basada en la manipulación rítmica del vinilo sobre el plato\, Fonki Chef has more than 135.000 subscribers on the social network YouTube and has participated in festivals such as Vida Festival (2023)\, Crossroads Festival (2024) o Amua Festival. \nActividades familiares \nEl equipo de Mediación del Centre del Carme ha diseñado la actividad familiar ‘Estrategias antimareo’\, which will begin at 12.00 hours in the bedroom. La propuesta se enmarca en la exposición ‘Teatro Magnético’\, de Pablo Helguera\, que se inspira en las sesiones del doctor Mesmer\, precursor of hypnosis in the 18th century.  The workshop proposes a space for intergenerational coexistence that invites participants to abstract themselves from the hyperstimulation of everyday life to recover attention to the details that usually go unnoticed and enhance the connection between the beings that surround us..  At 18.00 horas tendrá lugar la actividad lúdica ‘Nanas que hipnotizan’\, aimed at babies 0 a 3 years and their families. Esta iniciativa también se enmarca en la exposición ‘Teatro Magnético’\, that invites you to immerse yourself in the popular wisdom of lullabies. \nVisitas nocturnas a las exposiciones \nCon motivo de la Gran Nit de Juliol\, el Centre del Carme abrirá sus salas hasta la medianoche\, offering the opportunity for evening visits to recently opened exhibitions. Entre ellas figura ‘Memorias del suelo’\, an exhibition that analyzes the influence of the Alicante artist Juana Francés on contemporary creation. La exposición\, which can be seen until 4 de octubre\, ofrece un diálogo entre el informalismo de Francés y las obras de los artistas contemporáneos Esther Gatón\, Elena Lavellés\, Menhir\, Daniel Ortega\, Miguel Sbastida\, Julia Varela and Laia Ventayol.
