SUMMARY:The humanist legacy of SEMINCI: El puente
DESCRIPTION:Por tercer año consecutivo\, llega a La Filmoteca el ciclo Memoria y utopía\, one of the sections that are part of the programming of the Valladolid International Film Week (Seminci)\, created in 2023 in order to recover restored versions of forgotten or censored masterpieces and films. En la última edición del festival –la 70ª–\, The Memory and Utopia section was dedicated to highlighting the historical role of Seminci as a reference for social and humanist cinema in Spain..  \nDurante siete décadas\, el festival vallisoletano ha forjado una identidad basada en el compromiso y el más profundo humanismo\, being a pioneer in our country in giving visibility to films and authors (and authors) fundamentales\, as well as works that have been left out of the official canon. Para celebrar este legado\, el festival seleccionó entre la historia de su programación una docena de títulos\, con paridad de género entre los cineastas\, eleven of which we now present in Valencia. (1976)\, documental de Barbara Kopple ganador de un Oscar\, que estableció los nuevos estándares del cine documental político y social\, o Ana\, uno de los films antropológicos y poéticos\, bellísimos\, by the Portuguese Antonio Reis and Margarida Cordeiro.
