DESCRIPTION:The fifth meeting of the Context Practices cycle. Tools for young job insertion in the art system proposes a critical reflection regarding the implications of linguistic and cultural displacement in contemporary artistic and curatorial practices. Si partim de la premissa que migrar no implica únicament un canvi de territori\, sinó també la necessitat d’habitar una altra llengua\, l’activitat aborda els processos de pèrdua\, traducció\, negotiation and reinvention of the self that go through these experiences. Des d’una perspectiva analítica\, s’examina el paper de la llengua com a frontera\, eina i\, a vegades\, obstacle dins del sistema de l’art\, així com la influència que té en la construcció de la identitat\, artistic practice and professional positioning. Més enllà d’una dimensió expositiva\, la trobada cerca generar un espai d’escolta i reflexió col·lectiva que permeta visibilitzar les complexitats de produir\, pensar i comunicar des d’un idioma no matern\, taking into account the symbolic and material displacements that this entails. \nLa trobada s’inscriu en el projecte Cultura als Campus–Cultura Jove\, del Servei de Cultura Universitària\, which has the support of the Generalitat Valenciana. It is structured progressively with the aim of articulating critical reflection and analysis of specific experiences. En aquest sentit\, comença amb una introducció orientada a problematitzar la relació entre llengua\, identity and artistic practice in migrant contexts (10 min)\, seguida d’un bloc de discussió al voltant de la llengua com a dispositiu de poder\, inclusion and exclusion within the system of art (30 min). A continuació\, s’aborden experiències de producció artística i circulació d’obres en contextos multilingües\, prestant especial atenció a les tensions entre identitat\, market and institution (30 min). Posteriorment\, open a space for dialogue with the public focused on issues and shared experiences (40 min). Finalment\, it closes with a synthesis that collects the main keys to thinking about language as a structural element in contemporary artistic practice (10 min).
