SUMMARY:Cine y reflexión para combatir el estigma del VIH
DESCRIPTION:La Sala SGAE Centre Cultural acoge una sesión de cine y debate para combatir el estigma del VIH organizada por AVACOS\, la Asociación Valenciana de VIH\, AIDS and Hepatitis. Se proyectarán los cortometrajes Piruletas y Generación positiva\, del realizador Carlos Martínez Pérez\, que abordan desde miradas complementarias la realidad del VIH en distintas generaciones.\n\nProtagonizado por Kike Poveda\, Antonio Jesús Aguilar\, Marcos González y Maya Reyes\, Piruletas tells the story of a man from 65 years that he is forced to hide part of his life due to the rejection of his own family. The short film won the Best LGTBI International Short Film Award at the 21st Alicante Film Festival 2024. Generación positiva\, por su parte\, es un documental que recoge el testimonio de tres jóvenes que viven con VIH y deciden visibilizar públicamente su situación en un ejercicio de valentía que reivindica el derecho a vivir sin miedo ni discriminación.\n\nTras las proyecciones se celebrará una mesa de debate en torno a los derechos de las personas mayores con VIH\, healthy aging and the way in which the epidemic is experienced by new generations. Mª José Fuster will participate (doctora en Psicología\, executive director of SEISIDA and professor at UNED)\, Kike Poveda (protagonist of Piruletas)\, Jesus Cisneros (protagonist of Positive Generation and member of the Executive Commission of CESIDA)\, Felipe Mendoza(responsible for the Young People in Positive group – AVACOS) and Alberto Puché (member Youth in Positive – AVACOS)\, moderados por el artista y activista VIH Ramón Espacio.\n\nA través de estas historias de VIHDA\, la asociación AVACOS desea mostrar la experiencia de las personas de diversas generaciones que viven con VIH\, para derribar prejuicios\, promover el respeto y fomentar el diálogo sobre la salud\, diversity and human rights.
