DESCRIPTION:La escritora y guionista María Bastarós participa en el tercer encuentro del ciclo Charlas sobre Ficción Expandida\, dirigido por el escritor y guionista David Pascual\, in which we meet with creators from different disciplines who expand the notion of writing beyond the text. \nA partir de su trabajo narrativo\, Bastarós reflexiona sobre la escritura como una herramienta capaz de intervenir en la tradición\, to re-signify territories and cultural milestones. Sus ficciones exploran el terror doméstico\, the presence of the unknown inserted in the familiar and the identity crisis. Es autora de la novela Historia de España contada a las niñas (Fulgencio Pimentel\, 2019)\, premio Puchi Award\, Cálamo Otra Mirada y Premio de Narrativa de la Asociación de Críticos de Valencia\, del libro de relatos No era a esto a lo que veníamos (Candaya\, 2021)\, finalist for the Setenil Prize in Spain and one of the five best fiction books translated from 2025 para The Guardian\, y de Criaturita (Seix Barral\, 2025)\, edited in the USA by Primero Sueño. Ha trabajado como guionista para diversas productoras audiovisuales como Superestar (Suma\, 2025). Su obra\, que abarca la literatura\, el guión y la divulgación cultural y artística\, goes beyond the limits of the genre to think of fiction as an expanded territory: un espacio donde lo histórico\, the intimate and the magical intertwine. \nEn este encuentro\, analizamos de la mano de nuestra invitada las formas en que la ficción nos invita a explorar la oscuridad y el deseo\, to name the uncomfortable and to rewrite the horror stories inherited from contemporary times. \nA lo largo del ciclo hemos contado con la participación de Estela Sanchis (25 of November) and Monty Peiro (16 December)\, and soon with Gemma Blasco (25 of May)\, creators who, from their respective fields, share the same desire to question the dominant narratives and expand the margins of fiction.
