SUMMARY:Andrés García Ibáñez. Una mirada al realismo español
DESCRIPTION:The Bancaja Foundation presented the Andrés García Ibáñez exhibition this morning at its headquarters in Valencia. Una mirada al realismo español\, which brings together for the first time in Valencia in a monographic form the work of the Almeria artist. Lapresentación ha contado con la participación del presidente de la Fundación Bancaja\, Rafael Alcón\, y el propio artista\, Andrés García Ibáñez. La muestra ofrece una visión esencial y concentrada de los ejes fundamentales de su trayectoria\, emphasizing the more realistic aspect focused on the classic genres of painting. El recorrido está integrado por 84 works by García Ibáñez dated between 1994 y 2026\, many of them being presented to the public for the first time and including some of their most significant creations.. Con grandes maestros del arte español como referencia y principal influencia\, Ibáñez's pieces dialogue in the exhibition tour with 11 obras de Francisco de Goya\, Joaquín Sorolla\, Antonio López\, Ignacio Zuloaga and Juan Valdés Leal. \nLa producción del artista nacido en Olula del Río (Almería) in 1971\, muy enraizada en la gran tradición realista española\, abarca un amplio universo creativo que va desde las disciplinas pictóricas tradicionales\, pasando por la reflexión alegórica o la propuesta metapictórica\, hasta una visión crítica y deformante\, de carácter expresionista\, but always moving within the limits of the realistic or naturalistic representation of the image. \nLa exposición se ha estructurado en cuatro ámbitos. En la sección Los géneros tradicionales se presentan un conjunto de retratos\, paisajes y bodegones que enlazan al autor con la tradición más clásica de la pintura figurativa\, approached from its perspective of contemporary realism. En Mito y alegoría se incluyen varias obras\, algunas de gran formato pertenecientes a la juventud creativa del pintor\, donde se hace una lectura contemporánea de asuntos mitológicos clásicos\, and other later pieces that use allegory and the rereading of great works of art history to investigate human nature and its passions. \nEn el ámbito Las series beethovenianas se exponen un conjunto de lienzos\, pertenecientes también a la juventud del artista\, donde se analiza la obra de Ludwig van Beethoven para contar vivencias o pensamientos íntimos\, but also to provoke reflection or questioning in the viewer about aspects of the human condition.. Por último\, en Amistad y trabajo se aborda su relación con el pintor Antonio López con obras que han realizado juntos\, principalmente escultóricas\, but the pictorial visions of each author of the same landscape are also shown..
