DESCRIPTION:Valencia Jazz “What a Wonderful World” Band is a Palau production that brings together prominent names of current Valencian jazz. El repertorio de este proyecto se basa en arreglos escritos por los propios miembros del grupo sobre temas populares del songbook internacional\, con una selección de famosas composiciones de la música popular que transitan por el jazz\, el pop\, bolero and flamenco. \nEl trompetista David Pastor presentará su nuevo disco\, The Abraxas Sessions Vol. 4\, un tributo a Dizzy Gillespie\, leyenda del jazz y figura revolucionaria del bebop\, whose influence marked a before and after in the history of music. \nLa cantante Cristina Blasco presentará su nuevo proyecto\, La Bohème\, an album inspired by great classics of French song with a contemporary and jazzy touch. \nTambién la vocalista castellonense Bárbara Breva presentará un nuevo proyecto producido por Nacho Mañó: Spanish Standards\, un homenaje a los grandes clásicos de la copla española\, el pasodoble\, la zarzuela y el cuplé\, fused with jazz and the Mediterranean essence. \nPor su parte\, Ximo Tebar presenta este año dos nuevos libros\, JAZZ 4’33’’ y El silencio improvisa\, un proyecto artístico y conceptual basado en una profunda reflexión sobre el silencio\, la improvisación\, space and listening as the essence of musical creation and as a philosophy of life.
