DESCRIPTION:The exhibition 175 anys al cor de València celebra el nacimiento y la evolución de la Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny de València\, key institution in the cultural life of the city. Con más de un centenar de obras\, the sample runs 175 years of history in the same building where it emerged in 1850 the old School of Arts and Crafts (current Carme Center Contemporary Culture)\, created to improve Valencian craftsmanship. \nDurante más de cien años\, la institución formó a miles de estudiantes en artes aplicadas y oficios artísticos\, contributing to the industrial development of the city. Desde los años sesenta del pasado siglo XX incorporó estudios innovadores como diseño de interiores\, diseño gráfico\, moda\, diseño de producto\, fotografía y joyería\, consolidating itself as a reference in pedagogical renewal and internationalization. \nLa exposición\, conformada únicamente con trabajos de exalumnado de la EASD\, conecta pasado y futuro\, reclaiming the heritage legacy and celebrating the challenges and opportunities facing design education in the 21st century.
