You breathe in the garden as in a forest and you want to be in the theater as in the world.
But neither the garden is Nature nor the theater the world.
Someone prepares the gardens to enjoy an organized piece of nature, to the wild origin and full of dangers.
In the theater someone arranges words and images in a speech that draws a logic that looks like an answer.
But just as when he leaves the garden and enters the forest, when I leave the theater and go back to the world, all the illusion vanishes and the world that appears again before my eyes turns indomitable, dangerous and always incomprehensible.
One breathes in the garden as in a forest is a piece of theater that is essentially a stage exercise for one person.
Whoever attends the play takes on the role of performer and audience consecutively.
In this piece, the two fundamental roles of the theatrical fact are proposed: someone watches in silence while someone performs an action on stage. And from this primitive theatrical convention, which has lasted for thousands of years until today, a stage game is proposed through a narrative supported by simple movements that confront the participant with the convention represented.
In this experience, some questions are pointed out about reality as an artifact of the imagination, its materialization and construction and why we love to observe in silence, just like we do when we go to the theater, the artifice of the world we have created.
