In 2012, Some people from Ceuta left their families behind to go to Syria and during the weeks they spent between Türkiye and Damascus they regularly called their relatives.. The police had tapped their phones, So all the conversations were recorded and included in the dossier of the judicial process in which eleven people were convicted of belonging to an Islamic State recruitment network.. With the more than 12.000 transcript pages, Roger Bernat I have put together a work in which three performers reproduce the conversations of the wives of these men. They speak simultaneously and the audience – who receives three-channel headphones – decides at all times which dialogue to listen to.. No two spectators will come away having heard the same story..
