It will be the third year that the Poblats Marítims festival fits into a single weekend to be able to keep buzzing in the Valencian scene. These are fluid and unstable times where vulnerability reigns, a feeling that this year marks the passage of the 14th edition of the Cabanyal Intimate. It all starts with the rogue variety show Lazy and mischievous of Kiki Morgan, the traditional cabanyaler bingo and a session of tropical electronics: the starters before arriving at the moll de l'os of this festival, that is to say, the short pieces. We highlight the absolute premieres Autofiction, d’Eva Zapico i Miguel Ángel Sweeney; i Window, of Tent goods, about a woman in Cabanyal who resists from her trench while gentrification and tourism erase the soul of her neighborhood. They are longer Billie 2.0., in tribute to Billie Holiday's life of struggle and resistance; and the disturbing amalgam of circus, masks, puppets and objects that is Fragments, of the French company The Eve. Performances, dance, a revetla, a guided tour and a sensory and documentary experience that makes visible the work of herbalists in Colombia, Mexico and Peru complete a program in a small bottle.
