The Valencian publishing house Media Vaca has been publishing authentic masterpieces made of deep texts and two-tone illustrations for twenty years.. The premise is always to innovate, look for new ideas, and publish them with a transgressive spirit. With that idea in mind, your editors, Vicente Ferrer and Begoña Lobo, They can spend two to five years working on a book with its author and developing an entire creative process, which ultimately means that they only publish three books a year. To commemorate these two decades of activity, Las Naves organized an excellent exhibition at the end of 2018 in which we were able to see a good part of the publisher's production so far and now it is launching the twenty-minute documentary Toast to the sun. 20 years of Media Vaca in which we hear the voices of foreign editors who pay homage to the Valencian publisher (National Award for the Best Cultural Editorial Work in 2018), from collaborating illustrators such as the Taiwanese Chu Li Che or the Japanese Taro Miura and from Ferrer and Lobo themselves, willing to continue another twenty years rescuing illustrators' works kept in a drawer, illuminating the world of the little ones, treating them as intelligent beings and inventing new ways of doing things that expand the publishing world.
